It may help, but it is not a requirement. Throwing an axe is more technique than strength. That being said you have to be able and willing to throw a 1.5 to 2 pound axe over your head.
Do I have to be a lumberjack to throw axes?
Yes. Our main concern is your safety and fun. Our coaches and staff are educated and trained to provide a safe axe throwing experience. But it is a team effort between staff and throwers.
All throwers:
-
Must be sober and aware
-
Listen to coaches and staff! Failure to do so will result in a quick end to your axe throwing experience without refund.
Is Axe Throwing Safe?
We recommend flannel. If that's not your bag, just wear something comfortable. This is a slightly athletic activity so dress comfy. You must wear closed toed shoes to participate.
What should I wear?
